About

Wasatch Barbershop may be new to the scene in Salt Lake City (opened in 2023) but Crystal Larsen and her team are anything but novice. Crystal is an industry veteran and Master Barber with 18+ years of experience behind her. Crystal attended beauty school at Salt Lake Community College. Crystal ran a private studio for close to 4 years and owned and ran 3 barbershops over the course of 6 years. With many experiences and lessons learned, it was finally time for wasatch!

For Crystal, Wasatch Barbershop is an opportunity for her to really focus on creating a space that feels like a sanctuary for both her barbers and clients alike. She deeply believes that the energy in a space is critical to its success. The energy she hopes to cultivate for Wasatch is both professional and comfortable, a place clients come to unwind and engage in self care that uplifts their spirits and puts a smile on their face. For barbers she hopes to create a warm safe work environment where each individual can find the support they need to be their whole selves. She hopes to create a place where employees love coming to work and feel good rather than drained at the end of a shift. She values a workplace that understands work is only one part of a person’s life and identity and strives to give her barbers the flexibility to build a lifestyle where they can prioritize their personal values and still contribute to a team of people committed to making small but impactful differences in the lives of their clients.

Crystal Larsen

Crystal is wildly passionate about her career in barbering as well as owning a small business. She loves the team environment, the opportunity to build relationships and the ability to continue learning and growing each day. She cherishes the chance to lead such a great group of people and takes every opportunity to help them learn and grow as well. She hopes to continue to connect with clients in all her barber’s chairs and to deliver quality services to the community. “My goal is to get a smile out of every client, a laugh if possible.” She says.

Crystal is married to her husband, Quinton. They have two beautiful children. She loves spending time with her family, boating, camping and being in nature, watching her kids perform or play sports and showing her kids all this world has to offer.

We’re so excited to share our journey with you!
